Talk:Business plan

SmallBusiness.com: The free small business resource
Jump to: navigation, search

I removed a link someone had added that pointed to a commercial site offering business plan assistance and products. While there are appropriate places for such links (we encourage them on User pages or if someone wants to set up a directory of commercial sites that offer business plan assistance, that would be fine). However, a how to guide, like this one, needs to stay neutral of commerical pitches.

Free resource but sponsored by a company?

Where does SmallBusiness.com stand on links and information from a free resource website that is sponsored and run by a company? Is that considered neutral or consumer?

Appropriate place to put links

It is okay to add links to sponsored, neutral sites on SmallBusiness.com entries that are "directories" of resources related to that topic. It is NOT okay to add links to entries that are entries like this one. These entries typically have a link to related resources on SmallBusiness.com. One of the related resources should be to a directory related to the topic. THAT's where links should appear. Thank you for asking. Rex 12:29, 4 January 2008 (CST)
