The Entrepreneurship Major at University of Hawaii is a specialized university program and curriculum focused on the study of entrepreneurship and business creation.

About the program

The new BBA/Major in Entrepreneurship program is designed to prepare future entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge to start their own businesses. The program will focuse on identifying, analyzing and evaluating global and local business opportunities; creating new independent business ventures or new ventures within existing firms; developing creativity and understanding innovation; ethical and social responsibilities for entrepreneurs; environment assessment for new ventures; marketing research; financial planning; developing effective business plans to obtain financing; sources of capital; legal issues related to starting and operating a business; valuation; family owned businesses; succession; and opportunities for women and minority entrepreneurs.
